About
The WDFOA provides football officials, timers, and chain crews for high schools, middle schools, colleges, and military bases throughout the Washington DC metropolitan area. We serve schools in the following counties and conferences in Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia:

- Charles County
- Howard County
- Montgomery County
- Prince George’s County
- St. Mary’s County
- Interstate Athletic Conference
- Washington Catholic Athletic Conference
- Washington DC Charter Schools
- Various Independents
Our membership has over 200 active members and approximately 100 associate and probationary members. Notable members from the WDFOA include former NFL Referee Terry McAulay and NFL Referee Adrian Hill. Other former/current professional and collegiate officials from the WDFOA are listed below:
